Kelly O’Hara, BS, RD, CDN, is a Registered Dietitian in Boston, MA. Since the beginning of her career, Kelly has always worked in various fitness settings. This allowed her the creativity to develop her own nutrition programs and develop her own content for counseling sessions. It also opened doors for coaching in group settings and giving community presentations.
Kelly has been a competitive swimmer since the age of 5 through her senior year of college, where she was a Division 1 Athlete on the Women’s Varsity Swim Team at Ball State University. It gave her a personal appreciation for nutrition and how it can impact performance and day to day life.
After graduating from college and swimming competitively, Kelly switched her focus on fueling for athletics to fueling for a healthy, active lifestyle. Having gone through some food related challenges of her own, Kelly is thankful that she has grown from past experiences and can utilize them to better relate to clients and help them through any roadblocks they may face.
What I Love:
Kelly loves to cook, bake, and read. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband. Being active is a big part of her life and so is feeling fit and strong. Kelly is big on family and comes from a family of 4 girls, all of which she is very close to. She is an avid holiday decorator and loves all things festive. She loves to laugh and enjoy life!
